Jali & Thacket Indian Sheesham

Thacket and Jali are two collections of Maharaja inspired Indian furniture crafted from solid Sheesham wood, known also as Indian Rosewood. Hand made by highly skilled Indian craftsmen, both collections feature unique and beautiful dining and living room furniture that you simply will not find elsewhere. The natural grain and rich texture for which Sheesham is renown is complemented further by a honey brown stain and wax finish.

In the Jali collection you will find bookcases, coffee tables, sideboards and TV cabinets, as well as more unusual pieces such as the CD units, coffee trunks, dressers and telephone tables. Jali also features some fabulous dining furniture with dining tables available in five sizes, ranging from 120cm - 200cm in length. Dining chairs with wooden or ironwork slats are available separately or as part of full dining sets. Jali is best known for the intricate portcullis ironwork and wrought iron handles that adorn much of the collection, adding exquisite design detail to the rich and warming textures of the rosewood.

Thacket features some wonderful round coffee tables, lamp tables and coffee trunks, all with wrought iron handles and blackened metalwork. Dining furniture is also available with an equally large selection of table sizes and chair options to choose from. Thacket tends to suit a more traditional dining room, whilst the chunky legs and grooving on the Jali dining collection may be more suited to a contemporary dining room.

Jali and Thacket are two highly unusual collections of fantastic furniture, expertly hand made in India and delivered straight to your door. The rich Sheesham textures and the honey brown stain combine perfectly with excellent design to create two ranges of furniture capable of adding to any room. Some items in both collections are displayed in a darker stain which is not currently available. A colour swatch is included with each item to show the actual colour of the finish.
