About the product
A beautiful large double pedestal desk with nine drawers that can either be used as a desk or as a dressing table that is made from solid Oak. All items are made to order and a choice of either classic brass or contemporary steel handles are available at no extra cost.
New Court furniture is made in Europe from carefully selected oak to ensure a very clean finish. The sections of oak used are substantial and this becomes very obvious when lifting any piece. It really weighs a ton and oozes quality not necessarily obvious from a photograph. Most of the range has a waxed finish except for the dining, coffee and lamp tables which have a very attractive satin lacquer protecting them from most hot items and spillages.
Items can also have tapered or square legs and be finished in either oil or lacquer for a small additional cost. A bespoke service is also available upon request. Please call for details.

We had seen it in a show room so were aware of product before hand and were able to buy it cheaper through Oak Furniture solutions. A slight chip on one of the drawer knobs where the wood can be seen and a little disapointed that we had to wait 8 weeks rather than the 4-6 weeks as web site indicates. However delivery was free if you have somone to help the driver carry in the goods and delivery company were on time and good with communication.
